~Hey. I really love the guitar work in Blue Moon. I may be only 14 years old but I know things when it comes to music and this has great guitar work. I listened to it and it put me to sleep. Great job. Keep up the work because I'll be here ready to listen to some more!! ~

JEFF guitar work sounds just like mine

"except you have talent", and mine is still stuck in my head. Never to reach my stubborn fingers :( Ive heard a lot of things here that I really like, but yours doesn't need anything but promotion IMHO. It is flowing and captivating mixed very well and performed with exceptional talent. Bravo!!
Thank you for letting me listen to your excellent creation, it humbles many of us judging from the other posts as well. How about posting some more so I can be inspired by a CD full :)

Hi there! Im really glad you enjoyed listening to Blue Moon. I hope it didnt put you to sleep on accident :) I see you play music yourself. I'll make sure to give your music a listen after dinner. Thanks again and good luck to you!

Its people like you that makes you want to keep creating music all day. Thank you. I know what you mean how the music stops at your fingers. You will eventually overcome this when you practice often. Its like the old bike analogy... you used to hop on that thing and know where you wanted to go but you ended up on the ground until the 60th time. :) Thanks again for the kind words and good luck to you!

There is nothing like the sound of a well recorded acoustic, and you have succeeded beautifully! You play so lyrically and every note rings out so fine! And--dammit all!_ I like that beat box track. It really works with this.

You put me to shame! This must be humility night because everything I'm hearing is very pro sounding.

Nice job. Soulful as hell too.

Holy Shit! That's just fucking outstanding my friend. What mic did you use on the acoustic lead guitar? It sounds perfect. Lots of air but no hyped high end.

Really amazing and spontaneous guitar playing! Great song man! The tune reminded me of Gloria Estefan too!

The bass seemed a bit distorted on my monitors though.

Cheers!

I appreciate your kind reply. Thats silly that my playing puts yours to shame. Its just everybodys' heart talks differently. Too many people get tied up in what everybody else is doing... people would do just fine tuning into their instruments and keeping the world tuned out. From what Ive heard from you, you sound just as professional as the next... the whole trick is not giving up and you can play better than the people that dont do their homework! ;)

Boy... Thanks! I used a matched pair of Octiva Mc012's from the sound room into my Mackie board. I agree that they sound superb. I also love to sit around and smell the cedar box :)

Thats cool! Sounding like Gloria's tunes is a great compliment. Her musicians play for feeling and I like that.
Yes... the bass still might need a little more rolled off-- thats some pretty mean bass... Its that R & B bass sound :) Take care
