A while back when i did some drumming for a band in a studio I used V-drums and I agree the cymbals sound like shit on the recording. So thats why we used real cymbals instead which wasn't so bad. Overall it sounded fine.

I use a set of roland td3 v-drums (yeah, i know the sounds of the kits are shit) But........... When you hook it up to DFH custom and vintage it kicks ass!! The HH control works so much better than with the kits on the td3 sound module!!! In fact, Why am i still here? I'm off to play on the kit!
