Or, somebody might like my idea...someday...maybe....

Your idea is good. It's just not very practical. There's only a small handful of regular members here that write or record anything consistently, and even fewer that post em in here. But even getting that relatively small number of songs into one place would probably be a pain in the ass for everyone. I know for me personally, I'm not re-uploading all of my stuff just so it can go into some HR library.

Yep. I've got the bass, abomination, and some sequenced drums done so far. Hopefully, I'll be able to do the guitars tonight.

My drum kit ticks off the neighbors, so I probably won't be able to do those until Saturday.

In fact, a few of the tunes I re-posted were covers. So, I'm covering covers of the covers I covered.

I haven't even started yet. I suck.

okay . . . here it is.

The track is "A Clear Blue Ocean" (or "The Blue Horizon", I'm not sure which. It was written in 2009 by Mike Pilling (Strat1958). He posted it in HR somewhere (probably the MP3 clinic), and I was taken by it and decided to do my own version.

I just finished tracking and comping today. I'm gonna let the tracks rest until tomorrow and hopefully have a mix up by Monday evening at latest.

Ok. I lied.

I will have a full mix by Monday, but I did the guitar-free remix already for fun.

I covered Walter Tore's "We Are Mutating into a Computer Screen" mostly because I prefer my covers cross-genre. Plus, I like his schtick. The whole improv-only thing is pretty cool.
