Got a rough scratch track done to the Rami tune. I'm sorry Rami, but it's gonna be awful. :laughings: :laughings:
 
Great Idea.
I'm way to busy to attend but I look forward to hearing the results, I might join in on the next round though.
 
I really like this idea. Unlike most others, I am not the least bit busy and certainly should have plenty of time to do this. Just not sure I can pick a tune. A lot of stuff here is just way too complicated for me. I'm hopeful that I can find something fairly simple that I can butcher though!
 
yeah, trying to pick a tune is harder than I thought. I want to find a good song, easy to play, but was recorded crappy so mine at least has a chance at sounding better. :laughings:

I haven't found any yet.... :rolleyes:
 
Ok, got my drums, bass, and guitars recorded for my RAMI tune.

This song has a great bass line.

Your bass line was a little tough to figure out. I think I got it for the most part. It's great. You do a lot of licks and accents, and I do too, but your style comes from a different place than mine. It was a fun challenge. Now I gotta figure out your harmonies and phrasing. Your recording is so good though, it shouldn't be a problem. I can make out the lyrics, but when you get a chance, send me the words so I get em right. :D

I just went back and listened again. I haven't heard it in at least a year if not more. Man, I'm glad you think so, but it's amazing how bad it sounds to me after not hearing it for so long. :eek:

I got a challenge that might help with this challenge. Is there a way to get all the past posted songs together in a type of HR music library? Maybe a mod could organize a roundup of sorts, have all the current members upload their songs (only those that have been posted) to a central location so that members can peruse the vast collection of talent here without wading through years of old posts, not knowing what they're looking for.
Just an idea - commence firing! :eek:

Well you could do a username search just in the clinic.

I don't keep my shit online for long. If someone remembers something they might wanna do, they can ask for it.

I've been a member for 1 year - How would I even know what or who I'm searching for? I forget what/who I've heard last week. So, you say when I find what I don't know I'm looking for, and it's not there anymore, I can ask for it? :confused: That should be convenient.
