Hi,
I am currently beginning to construct a studio in my converted attic. There are two square holes in the walls that me and my family use to store Christmas decorations, etc. Would anyone have any suggestions what I could use to cover the holes up yet still make them accessible?

Home made broad band absorbers with hinges so you could open it?

I have been holding back... Sorry, but isn't that what a door is made for?

Post a pic of your situation. :)

Hi Adam,
Well, hilarity apart, something needs to be done to the holes because they will "honk". No, not the Crimble Stilton but the resonance formed by the cavity.

The dekkies could however be the answer! If they are packed in cardboard boxes with sound absorbing material such a foam or compressed cardboard (or even left over rockwool offcuts!) and the cavities are virtually filled, all you then need is a heavy curtain.....OR

Are they big enough to hold a couple of fridges for your beer?!

Dave.
