Hey Guys, . . Thanks for all the compliments, . . Yeah, you're right. . I am pretty lucky. If not for the low 8 foot ceiling, . . this space would be almost perfect. Eventually, I'm probably going to put in a separate control room, . .But, for now, my funds will only allow me to try and acoustically treat the room with a modest budget. . .
Some of the other perks with this space is that there is a full tiled bathroom, right next to this room, (which will be nice to record guitars, and some vocals, depending on the effect that your after) and the best part this space is that I can slam the crap out of those drums all night, and the noise levels are minimum upstairs in the family area. . .

Are those M312b' s you have? (Mixers)
Yep! You got good eyes Bill! That's a Tascam 312b, and a Tascam 308b. My recorder is a Tascam 38, 8 track 1/2" tape recorder. . . I am holding onto the 308, incase I ever upgrade to a 1" 16 track recorder, . .and then I would probably combine the tow so that I have a 20 channel mixer!
My equipment is all analog

. . .except for a few 1980's digital reverbs and outboard effects. However, I do mixdown to a standalone pioneer cd burner, . .and eventually, I will probably want to have the capabilities of recording on tape, and then mixing down on a digital. But, for now its all analog.
