help with akg perception 200!!!!

I trying to get the microphone in the shockmount with having it fall...I took the bottom part of the shockmount and twisted it on the mic and it stayed in...then i tried putting hooking it back together and the microphone was falling out the shockmount once again...I want to be able to hang the microphone upset down on the mic stand...but everytime i try the mic fall out the shockmount...
