HELP!!! Sound Forge 5.0

HELP! :eek: I just got a copy of Sound Forge 5.0 for an internship I'm starting this Thursday...but I have no idea how to use the program. Can anyone give me a crash course on how to work this? It comes with very detailed and well-written PDF help files........ I suggest you start there......
 
Sonic foundry's apps (vegas, sound forge, and acid) are made with unbelieveably intuitive user interfaces

it can be a problem for guys who come from apps that require 8 or 9 mouse tools and copious amounts of keyboard tapdancing

the best way to learn is, forget EVERYTHING you know about computer music software editing

then think to yourself, "if I wanted to do this the easiest way, what would I do"

then try that, and 9 out of 10 times it will do exactly what you want.

Rollup the mouse wheel to zoom in, rolldown the mousewheel to zoom out

m for marker

r for region

simple things like that
