This in an ALTEC 1650 EQ unit. I want to wire it up unbalanced, but im not really sure what the proper wiring configuration is (e.g. do i use the 600 or 1500 ohm's terminals; should 21+ or 1+ dbm be selected; and what is that bridging resistor on the output for)?

It also came with a line trasformer (top right hand corner of photo); is it ok if this stays hooked up even if im wiring this unbalanced?

I've attatched a photo of the back of this unit that shows everything i've mentioned, and the literature as well. I've got canare cable and spade plugs to do the job...how do i do it correctly?

what to i do with that metal clip that is bridged between terminal 2 & 3 (you can see one on both the input and output). Are they to be removed?

Someone educate me here :)
