Hi all, I need some help if you would... I record bass, guitar and acoustic through a behr DI box into a Mackie VLZ3 mixer then push that into my pc via an maudio 2496. As well as vocals straight into the VLZ3s. I am looking to upgrade my chain and I have wanted to get a preamp for sometime. Having very little experience here I am going to have to go off the experience of others. A few things i am looking for in a preamp:
avoid would be helpful as well although i think i have a fairly good idea of the bad ones from reading around this forum. thanks.
- price around $500 to $700
- improvement over the vlz3s
- Line level input to get rid of behr DI
