Now when you say soundcard you mean the interface, right?

Also, do you have it connected when you install the software? If so don't.

That's not exactly what the directions call for. Did you type CMD in run first?

I followed the instructions, what did I do wrong? I also tried to download this
to my laptop which is 64bit and W7 OS, it still doesn't work on that !!

Maybe give it the full path? "regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\msvcr.dll"

Same message unfortunately.

Yes the interface, I followed the instructions, I did not connect it until prompted to do so.

No problem, I know how frustrating this stuff can be.

Are you installing just the drivers or the whole software package?

I'd get on the phone with Presonus. I've had pretty good support from them.

Just the driver at this point but i will be downloading the studio software once i have this thing nailed. I think maybe a phone call may be the answer .. i'll do that .. thanks again
