This is my Schecter C-1 E/A:

As you can see, this guitar is a bit different from your regular guitar. It has 2 outputs, one for the magnetic pickups (passive stock Duncan Designed H-H) and another for piezo (active RMC, which is powered by a 9V batt). Both have their own volume and tone knobs. I can play through the mags output without putting in the battery, means they are wired separately.

The problem is, currently I can only play using either one of the pickups. It's very frustrating and annoying to pull out the jack and insert it into another just to change between them in the middle of the set. BTW, i'm using a mono rig now. I was told that I can actually blend both of the signals but I don't know how.....

HI, I have a Schecter diagram on my other computer that the tech guy from their site emailed me. I can look for it and put it up in here, until then email them, they know all about why this is important and will surely show you the way. I think you have the inputs labelled wrong right off the bat, the upper one, will play both and if you split them the bottom one is for the piezo, but maybe each Schecter C1 E/A is different.

On a quick note, I have compared this guitar to quite a few, even some new top of the line Michael Kelly's I tried, even bought one. It seems to blow all of them out of the water, esp. for recording. It seems that piezo, gives it so much more of a "guitarish" sound that you just can't get on a regular electric. Also, I have learned to blend it better after owning one for awhile. The only problem, is the stringing, need to try different ones, as I bought 10's and 9's sound better, and something not so metallic sounding, amen. Enjoy yours, will try and get back to this thread soon, psongman
