I'm in the market for a stereo 15 band e.q, rackmounted,etc.
I have found several in the 99.00-150.00 u.s range.
The question is choosing from the following brands, whats good, & whats bad?
1. Nady
2. Art
3. Furman
4. Dbx
any one have any praise or warnings about these?
they all have a similar feature set, i,e:
15-band, 2/3 octave
Q-circuitry has 5% center frequency accuracy
Switchable low cut filter with LED
Active balanced and unbalanced input/output connectors (XLR, 1/4" TRS, and RCA)
Variable level control
Passive bypass switch
Signal overload threshold LEDs
Ground lift switch.

The e.q will be used for tone shaping after an old ADA MP1 pre-amp
Any help would be much appreciated
thanks Shred

Why one earth do you want a graphic EQ? Blah... hate em....

I like dbx eqs, there are pretty solidly built (although not as well as the OLD dbx stuff) and I like the way they sound.

I've only used Furman's power conditioning stuff, but it seems very well made, if their eq's are made as well they should be pretty solid.

I dont like ART eqs, the stereo 31 band that I used a couple times was flimsy, had no headroom and sounded like crap. It was an older model so they may have improved.

Dont know anything about The Nady stuff.
