headphone question

We have been recording in our home studio for about 3 months now and are actually achieving some good results. Hard work, but it's paying off! I have a question about headphones. We have been using cheap Behringer headphones, which are great for their tinny sound and leaking into microphones (save your applause).

I am looking at buying a set of Shure E1's at the local music shop, specifically for using when our drummer is laying down tracks. I'm hoping he'll be able to hear more of the click track (have to crank it up right now) and maybe experience less bleeding into microphones.

Would this help out? Anyone use these for recording before?

Equipment: Behringer Powerplay Pro8 headphone amp, AW4416 recording station, Behringer mixer being used as a preamp.

EX 29 Extreme Isolation Earphones work really well to prevent track bleed and to allow drummers to hear themselves.

I can listen to drum tracks loud enough to hear properly as I record acoustic guitar and there is no trace of the drum track on the guitar recording.

On a related note, something I'd like to see in headphone amps is a way to disable one ear....
