Have Akai GX646 how will it hold up against similiar priced equipment?

I bought a black Akai GX646 a couple years ago. It's in pretty nice condition, but needs a thorough going through.

I'm curious if this is a decent player and how it would compare say to an Otari 5050 BII or similiar players?
