Groove Tubes GT33, GT44

On my last trip to Guitar Center I saw them selling the Groove tubes GT33 for $99.99 and the GT44 for $199.99. I had always been interested in these mics but considered them slightly to expensive for my budget. I'm currently looking for a pair of Small diagram condensers for Drum overheads and acoustic guitar. Are these the mics I should look at if I want a smooth and warm vintage sound. Currently I'm using a pair of MXL V67G's for this purpose and I'm looking to upgrade. So, should I go for the groove tubes, (most likley the GT44), or are there better options?

At that price, just get 'em. And don't look back. Those are some pretty damn nice mics at any price.



Oh. . . and if you could have 'em put one or two on hold for me too, that would be great.
