Jimbo Jones said:That was the first track that I fell in love with on that album.
But, is it just me or does it sound almost too complex to play.
How the hell does he hit all those toms and still keep the crash going???
I think Grohl is an amazing drummer, like S.C.U.D. said listening to Nirvana
without Dave is quite a different experience.
jmproductions- Sure Nevermind's drums aren't all that stellar and from what I know were heavily processed,
but In Utero, now those are some DRUMS!
Yeah man, totally. The drum sound on In Utero is fuckin' crazy! HUGE sounding. Credit that to Steve Albini. I love the sound and feel of that whole album in general. It sounds so raw for such a major release and it fit Nirvana's style so well.... Much more than Nevermind did. If you notice there's like a 100ms slapback delay on the whole band except for the vocals. It just made the bass drum and snare sound gigantic!!! This arguement is kinda lame cause even if you ask Grohl himself he will tell you he's a minimalist and he deserves no credit at all as a drummer... How many times has he said that? Quite a few.
