Hey this is good. A lot of energy. Mix sounds pretty good to me. Good use of the stereo field. I liked that bass sound. Could use maybe a touch more volume.

I really have no complaints except for nits. My other being the guitar sound. I think it has a little more of a modern sound to it while the song has more of straight rock sound. Maybe the guitar needs to be a touch dirtier. I don't know as this really is not my style so ignore me! :D

Great work for sure.

Thanks again to everyone who checked out the tune.

I will be taking it down from the NWR site shortly as I don't want to have an unfinished project out in the public for too long. Maybe an other day at best from this post.

The next time you hear it, many changes will be made and many of them thanks to the help I received here though you guys.

Cheers! :)

Killer chorus hook! Good vocals, lots of air without getting too reverby.

Is the hole in the middle because there's no verse written yet?

Guitars had the right kind of grind for the song but were pretty dry. With out the singing and backing harmonies the song dried up quite a bit.

Rhythm section sounded solid and balanced.

There was a verse written originally 18 years ago when the song was written but, I want to update the lyrics with some things that are going on in the world these days. I will be taking headlines from the news and am lining up some outside talent to read the news like a local TV broadcast would sound like.

I think we will also re-do the track and structure it for a repeat of the chorus which seemed to wanted by more then a few who listened to it.

As I mentioned earlier, I have a lot of rust to grind off of my fingers and really play the guitar parts with the passion the song deserves and some other instrumentation will be added in the way of organ and some sound effects.

It will take a few weeks to put it all together as some of the other people involved in the project will be coming in from out of town so scheduling has to be worked out.

Look for the finished product in about 2 to 4 weeks from now if all goes well.

Cheers! :)

I like your music a lot.

All I can say is the vocals seem a tad loud to the rest of the mix.

Cool guitar sounds. Nice guitar "hook stuff" going on. Real cool tone on the guitars. Good solid playing. Good solid singing.

You could probably could bring up that bass. A good thumping bass is what a song like this needs.

Liked the doubled vox, but I'd keep the lead tracks down center. Syncing issues are noticable on headphones.

Little skip around 1:01-1:02. Something similar slightly amiss at 2:33.

In general maybe just a tad too much midrange energy. Minor thing though. Those cymbals were just a little crispy.

Good job on a cool song. Trip...

good song.. sounds good.. almost too crisp.. especially the vocals.. they seem hot to me, but the song was totally cool! good rock and roll..

I agree with WATYF, who thought the drums were real?!:D

Rock on !!! lotsa muscle and control. very clean and wide, much enjoyed.... :)

Nice work ghost. I liked the single guitar line riffs, sounded nice and crisp really made it stand out. The drum programming was very nicely done. The singer has a perfect 80's rock voice. The overall sound is somewhat vintage but if you could turn back time this would definitely be blarin out of my car on the way to school.

Well, once again, I wish to thank everybody who checked out "Dead Wrong". I received a lot of good advice and praise and I do genuinely thank all of you.

The Song has now been removed from the NWR site as I mentioned a few posts back, as we don't want the song out there for too long in its fragile, unfinished state. Once it has been completed, I will post it up at NWR and at Sound-Click, which is our normal band page for finished stuff.

To those that missed out on hearing it, I offer my apologies and hope I have your understanding on removing it for the time being.

I have posted in its place, an older tune that was done in the mid 90's called, "Poor Little Girl". This song was written by my band-mate, Doug Adair and features me on drum programing, backing vocals, bass and lead electric guitar and all keyboards. Doug on acoustic and electric rhythm guitars and lead vocal.
