hi guys...(gals sorry) lookin for tips on set up of nuendo and 1884.... war stories? bad trips? insights? thnx
 
Hey dude...
Ive been working with the fw-1884 for 2 years with Cubase SX and Nuendo and have had no problems whatsoever... There are a few things though that you should take care of on your pc first like properly disabling any onboard soundcard installed on the motherboard... this may conflict with the ASIO Fw-1884 drivers in Cubase or Nuendo.... Aside from basic "pc for music" configuration of windows and properly setting up the drivers and stuff, you should be having alot of fun with this machine... i just bought 3 expanders for it and now have 32 fader capability(looks really too!!)

thnx for the response im having a bit of trouble getting the two ta play nice together... some spotty results...eq panel not working/rec button wont latch (will record as long as i hold the button down) that sort of thing and not sure tascam really takes any responsibility for these things after they sell it to you... thnx again
