LAST MUD CHECK!!

I turned the bass up...(a lot). This is the 3rd version, and while I don't wanna' steal time valuable listening time away from those who really...(what the hell am I saying; nobody needs help more than I do).

I'm anticipating getting violin track *ahem* from somebody (Dave).

I'll obviously be adding some percussion later, but this is the last time I plan to bug ya'll with this one - unless I get that elusive fiddle track. (I know in advance that the drums will suck :D ).

I also took great pains to dehiss the guitar tracks...(WAYTF). Lemme' know if it needs more, por favor.

Good song but, I'm hearing some kind of pop. Like it's a old record playing on the old player I had. I even downloaded it to see and the pops were still there. I mean like the whole song. I'm gonna reboot my computer to see if that's it.

The only thing I heard was the acoustic strum sounds a little thin.IMHO

Interesting lyrics. I like the singing and I like the background vocals.

I didn't hear any mud on this or sibilance. It sounded good on my machine.

It looks like you have a lot of advice already anyway, but I like the song. Good job!
 
Flash - Thanks for the listen. Yeah, I heard that last night when I uploaded the "final" version. Seems the constant hissing has been replaced by popcorn noises. Luckily, it's only on the MP3. The wav is fine.

My Lame encoder is acting lame.

Boydrj - Thanks- Actually, you're one of about 3 people who have heard the version with the super pumped up bass...so I'm glad to hear you didn't get mud.

Man, you did it! Did what? you ask. Put together a real good song about three phases of life and made it work. Its really excellent. This is the kind of stuff you hear on a good day on public radio--not dumb enough for regular radio:D

Good stuff. I like your voice more every time I hear it. Oh, that fiddle was excellent too!
