...my friend Mixerman has a hilarious thread going in his forum, documenting his current "big time" recording session for a major L.A. label. It's at:

http://www.prosoundweb.com/recpit/viewtopic.php?t=2176

One of the funniest (and truest) threads I've read all year. You may hafta register to view it, but it's well worth the trouble.

Greatest read I've ever seen! Dumbass is my fav. charector!! This should go down with some of the greats like the "TROGS" sessions...LOL..Im hooked:)

Been following it all week, I think MM is just a tad bit impatient. Quite entertaining.
Has Willy Show made himself known yet?

HA!!!

This is waaaaaay better than any TV show I have ever watched! :D

I think I've worked with Dumb Ass before, only that was when he played lead guitar back in the early 90's. He still hasn't gotten over that wierd timing gallup thing....

Quit calling me Dumb Ass.
Wait a minute..
"Damn it Jim, I'm a singer not a drummer!"
(best "bones" McCoy imitation)

Chris

P.S. Perfect timing on this article. The long term plan is to convert
"hobby time" into becoming an assistant engineer.
Maybe I'll be even better than MM's "ASSistant"!

Looking forward to seeing what happens on Monday....I think.

Oh, man! I love the music business! And, I send piles of pity and compassion to mixerman with the the sincere wish that he gets paid every penny on this one.

haha that's great. i hope it doesnt trail off, though.. chances are things might not be as eventful once they really get going. However, there seem to be some plot twists waiting to unfold between the characters... it could get really good or it could get pretty boring. if it keeps up, though.. this is a classic.

I can't wait 'til Monday. I hope he doesn't get too busy to write.

Or strangle a bandmember.

This guy is hysterical. I busted out laughing at work reading this (it was quiet as a morgue) and people thought I had lost it. I tried to explain it (between my laughs) and got that "guess you had to of been there" look. My wife and I can't wait for the sequel. This guy's dead meat if he quits writing!!!
