Hey folks,
I'm making some changes in my home studio setup, and I have a couple of things I'd like to offer up for sale:
1. Soundcraft Spirit Folio Notepad Mixer - These things are just plain great, period. I had to place a special order for this for $170 nearly a year ago, and I've used it only a handful of times. It's pretty much like new condition, and has just been sitting in its factory box for about 6 months. I think they stopped producing these just after I bought it, and the used ones on eBay don't look so great (that is, if they make the trip safely from the UK). The preamps in this thing sound amazing, so before you spring for that cheap Behringer mixer, just keep in mind that you can get a SOUNDCRAFT for the same price! - $130
2. Shure Beta 58a - If you are on this board, then you know what this is about, so I need not explain. I bought this new about 3 months ago for $160. I took it out of the box, but then final exams hit, and I never got to use it. It's just been living in its cozy leatherette pouch in my desk drawer. I have all of the original packaging, so you'd basically be getting a new microphone, for the price of a used one. - $125
I also have an ART Tube MP preamp laying around. I got this as a gift, and didn't use it because I already had two of them.
If you are interested in any or all of these items, you can save some serious cash, and you can also rest assured that you'll be getting what you pay for (I've carried out more than 65 perfect transactions on eBay - user "jonah49").
My email is jmf49@cornell.edu, or you can call my cell phone at 315.575.3434, and I'd be happy to speak with you.
Cheers,
Jonah
