Ya know Diggy... That old fart thread was started in 2002.. so that 1967 date is actually 9 years old. It should really be 1976 to qualify for middle age slacker. But don't change it or else I will become an old fart...

NO WAY! I lived out on 9 mile Rd back in Ohhhhhhhhh 75' ..... woke up every morn just a staring at the nothingness.

I think 9 mile must be a pretty long road cause in 1982 where I was it was a major metro area :confused::confused: there was a mall right around the corner - Northland mall where kids used to get shot for their sneakers =/ Detroit isn't always a friendly place :eek: but it was better than 5 mile and Outer Drive in Old Redford - that hood was like a freaking Mad Max set but with crack dealers...

i think your time frame is a little too wide. someone born between 1980 and 1990 wouldn't really be old enough to have actually owned a ghetto blaster and certainly wouldn't be considered middle aged. folks born in 1990 could only be 21 years old right now.
 
Kids started growing up fast in the late 60s and were old before their time by the 90s. :D

The Breakfast Club was awesome! I loved that movie.

However, I'm not a middle-aged slacker, so I should probably leave before I get mugged! :eek:
 
Seriously dude, Im 21 years old and now im middle aged?...lol... Never owned a Ghetto Blaster...Unless you count 2 Alpine 12's in my car...lol
