Flat Screen Monitors and Noise in the Studio

Has anyone using a flat screen computer monitor found that they induce less noise in nearby equipment than the standard CRT monitors?

For instance, I can't get my strat anywhere near my current monitor (CRT) without it generating a lot of noise, it also seems to affect the noise level in my monitors.
