Hi folks. Is anyone familiar with REW and Equalizer APO? I'm trying to compensate for room resonances in my small home studio, using Equalizer APO and REW (niether of which, I am very familiar with). I measured my room acoustics in REW, using a measurement mic and a pair of 4" active monitors. I then used the computed EQ compensation settings generated by REW, and entered them into Equalizer APO 'config.txt', set to affect the output of my Behringer UMC202HD audio interface. I could clearly hear the EQ changes, as I made them, as I had some white noise playing. I saved the changes, and then ran another room test in REW, expecting the test result to reflect the EQ changes. It didn't. Equalizer APO was obviously not equalizing the sound sweeps generated by REW. Then I also noticed that the APO EQ changes had no effect when playing projects in my DAW (Reaper)... but I rectified that by switching from ASIO4all to WaveOut in the DAW's audio device settings. So now, I just need to figure out how to get the Equalizer APO changes to work when running REW tests. If I switch from ASIO to Java (the only other option in REW's preferences), it won't let me run tests. (The 'Measure' button gets grayed-out.) Thanks for any help.
