It may take a few passes
heh-heh, Tonio has your head exploded yet from the frustration of trying to play percussion with a constantly accelerating and decelerating moving target? :D Seriously, I think this collab has a lot of potential.

Wow, thanks Toki.

HAHAHA! I don't like to take pleasure in someone else's suffering...But I know how hard it is for me to play to MY OWN TUNES without a click track...Tonio's trying to play to this...He's a better man than me for even trying....I love it.

Yeah! …me too. Tonio may be subjecting himself to some major tracking torture though because the tune’s got a lot of tempo changes within phrases. :D

Thanks True for the compliment. And re file saving, doesn't your computer automatically save mp3s you download into a designated folder?

Tim
 I dunnno............. puter-tarded??.......... :D yep!!!

Oh, and I still love this, but can't wait ti hear it with the percussion!!!

Hey Tim,
finally got a chance to work on the tune today. Your file will not import, well OK its will, but its white noise. It plays fine in quicktime though hmm.. iTunes and Quattro DSP plays back white noise also, so it may be a file conversion snafu. Downloading again to be sure the file wasn't corrupted during 1st download.

BTW, its a mono track?

2nd download is a no go!! :(

You must have fudged it while converting/exporting??
Let me know.

allrighty then

:D

ahhh, eeyywww. hmm. D*mn its not perfect, but it was fun nonetheless

Somewhat sloppy spots here and there, but I gave it a shot. Basically its the 2nd or 3rd take on the bongos and cajon, other misc perc was 1st take .
HopefullyI mixed it ok. I am concerned about the guitar- added a smidgeon of verb and trim.

You might give NL5's sight a shot..... lightningmp3.com ....

Boring... no just kidding! :p Seriously, it blew me away. Classical guitar is awesome and you're very very good at it! It sounds just like I turned on a professional CD in the background right now.

Nuevo Zambra a la Tonio

Tonio... you got the link working! I'm listening as I'm typing... and will post in the new thread.

It was cool before, but the percussion adds a lot. Very well done!

I think Tonio's arrangement deserves its own thread so it doesn't get lost in this one... so I'm going to upload it and post as
Nuevo Zambra a la Tonio - percussion and guitar

See you there.
