Very nice!!

I also play nylon string and I really enjoyed what you did. Full and clear and even the string/finger noise was tasty. What kind of guitar? Strings?

Tonio said: Yeah, my flamenco playing has been mainly in the traditional vein but I like the sound of its combination with Afro/Cuban elements like the rumba and have done a bit of that. Hey Tonio... interested in doing a percussion/gtr collab sometime? Thanks for the listen.

Tim

Actually, I was refering to the spanish rumba, but the afro cuban style would be great also.
Collaboration? sure thing. I did check out some of your other work, and almost posted with some added percussion on it. Then decided it may be intrusive

Thanks Eddie. Haha, I knew I should have put some lotion on my L hand calluses before recording. It was a Clarke guitar, made by Fred Clarke of Menlo Park CA, who’s since passed away. Savarez Alliance red label strings.

Space, can’t really say much about Monkey except he seems to like guitar and metal.

Supercreep, thanks for the listen.

Thanks for listening and the kind comment Al. BTW I’ll have your intro to you shortly.

Tonio, I’d love to hear one of my solos with percussion added. Please post. If you let me know which one you might do I’ll send you a link to download the wav file from my site, if you want higher resolution. Interesting possibilities here.

Tim, cool. Let me check them out again and I'll let you know which one(s) I'll go for.

I'm glad I posted the Zambra here on the board... a new development... a version w/percussion will be in the works shortly - as soon as we transfer files from me in Seattle to Tonio in San Diego.

Have you tried "save target as" and play off your harddrive?
Wow, I just came across this! How did I miss it? Thanks for the info, I will try this. :)

Yeah! …me too. Tonio may be subjecting himself to some major tracking torture though because the tune’s got a lot of tempo changes within phrases. :D

Thanks True for the compliment. And re file saving, doesn't your computer automatically save mp3s you download into a designated folder?

Tim

Been kind of busy lately or I would have listened sooner. That is some great playing. I've always liked a well played classical guitar. Really nice flow to the whole piece. You must be pretty proud of this one. :D

Gracias Toonsmith. Thanks for listening. It’s a Juan Martín arrangement… he writes some excellent things.

one of the best listens I've heard in a great deal of time. The performance is stellar. The sonic presentation was beautiful, invokes some great imagery.
