hahahahahah You guys are all super funny. My main point is that you need a team of professionals to work on the music to make it sound like all the famous rap acts. Back in the 80s when they started rap it was OK for it to sound underground and raw, but these days when you have every idiot wanna be pud pulling studio gangster telling the same old story over and over again, it's obviouslly not ok anymore. No one wants to hear any more shit from the rap community, because you guys have used and abused it to the point of it all just being a huge puddle of shit.
You really can not improve, innovate, expand, or pioneer rap music any further. It's been maxed out and it's not the most technical or creative genre. You may be able to make a rap song that sounds decent, but it'll just be another drop in the shit bucket because like I've been saying EVERYONE has already been doing the EXACT SAME THING...
Good luck to you, good buddy...
I don't listen to radio music. So, if you think Nickleback is rock and you love it, have fun, I guess lol.
You all are missing a valid point to Phil's comments.. Sure he hates rap. But in reality it does take
professionals to sound
professional THAT includes in every genre...... If you are not a professional behind the mixing board, EVERYTHING will sound amateurish. Which if you want to talk smack, most of people on here are amateurs about it.
I personally enjoy listening to rap/hip hop/r&b as well as oldies, classical, and diff types of rock.
HOWEVER Phil, to say rap is not music, or to say rap is already maxed out, can be made pretty much true for EVERY genre of music in your logic. This is a world of 6 billion people, everythings been done more than once already. You can use your same logic on oldies, techno, jazz, any boy band out there. Same ole love song, same ole hate song, same ole life sucks song, same ole my life's better song, same ole breath taking, same ole chords being played man, same ole screaming. same ole grunge, same ole talking about death. it just all goes to show how saturated this industry is lmao

Even singing in itself is overlapped; same dynamics just different words.
And not everyone uses fruity loops.

but i just saw you use ez drummer because you can't drum. yeah uh no comment......... rappers are more like the singers, the "producer" or composer is more of the rest of the band. Not to mention these days, theres a LOT more live rap acts then there are not. Jay Z, even soulja boy had a full live set on stage (and I hate both of those artists, though jay is a smart business man).
