I have a craap 3dfx Voodoo3 3500 TV card and it suuuuckss!
the reason is because when I plug in my sound, I get crystal clear quality. But when I RECORD the sound, (e.g. magix music studio multitrack, or input mpeg, avi uncompressed, or anything else) I get LOWER QUALITY meaning hiss and distortion.
The sound is great as long as I'm just playing into my computer thru headphones. It's only when I try to capture the data in any format, that the musical quality becomes second-rate.
I see sound cards on Pricewatch.com for as low as $5 plus shipping...are there any cards in particular that I should watch out for? What's a GOOD one?
(preferably one without hiss or distortion. btw...win2000)
