Searching for the sound
OK Lads - this is it.
Attached is the latest plan for my studio. This is the result of lots of great info and feedback from this group as well as reading stuff on the web (Thanks John!) and in books. But the time has come to put down the pencil and pick up the pnumatic nailer - construction starts next month. Let me know if you see any complete bone headed stuff here.
The plan is really for three isolated rooms within a room (my basement). I have tried to make a decent balance between control room size and tracking room sizes. Of the two rooms, Room One is planned to be livlier then Room Two. The "lounge area" is still a pipe dream - we have way too much junk to allow for that... my wife got a kick out it being in the drawing though... Someday we will have a garage and I can empty that corner of "storage".
