Hi, I've changed my room around way too many times trying to set my studio monitors up perfectly in relation to my room.
The last guy to me to set my room up like this

Please have a look and tell me if it looks ok for accoustics and if not what should I move ?
Also, where would be the best place to record vocals ?
I was kinda thinking having a mic in the closet with the clothes and having the singer sing in towards the closet..
does that sound like a good idea ?

Thanks a bunch

common doods have a look, I spent half the night figuring out dream weaver and putting together that page just to post them pics. I would greatly appreciate any help

Dood?

Your monitors will sound a little better if the backs, or the fronts, are facing the clothing, which wll reduce reflections.

You might also considering putting two small nails in the top wall corners above your monitors and hang a heavy blanket. Minimal damage to the wall, and it will help.

Try to move stuff around where reflections will go seemingly randomly. Listen to your room, move stuff around, listen again. This is basic tuning. Good luck!
