F/S or F/T - MPC 1000

Hey guys been lurching for about a month and have really liked this website out of all the ones I've checked out so I figured I would go here first since there is a more community vibe.

I am looking to sell my MPC 1000 since I was thinking of going the hardware route to make beats but I just can't get away from the computer so I'm thinking of just selling this and getting the 16 pad version. I should say I have the original box with packing materials and it literally is in perfect condition. I cover it up every night or put it in the box so no dust or problems can happen to it. I have the original 32 mb flash card and I upgraded the memory in the unit itself to 256 instead of the stock 16. I believe I paid a little over 100 dollars for this.

I am willing to sell it outright or trade, and/or both.

Outright selling I would hope to get at least 850 for the MPC, the 32 mb flash drive, and the upgraded 256 mb memory but I am always willing to hear other offers within reason. I might be willing to trade this and some cash for things that I would still like to get in my home "studio".

Things I am looking for are a set up 8 preamps (ADAT ready), cables, mics, soundproofing, mesa boogie rectifier head, mesa boogie dc-5 and many other things.

Price Change

Alright lowering this to get the ball rolling hopefully. Outright buying the MPC and upgraded will be lowered to a straight up $825 fully shipped.

I definitely would much rather trade for a few things that I am looking for, so please look around your studio and see if you don't need things around that I might be looking for. Thanks guys.
 
Alright guys still putting this out there. I will still take some offers for money but I really am looking more for trades. I have had a few offers already but just not quite what I am looking for. So just to clarify I really would like to trade for one or some of these things:

- preamps like the digimax, something that contains adat lightpipe.
- akai 16, or something like that
- midi keyboard like the radium (61 keys preferred)
- one good either preamp or compressor
- sm 57 mic
- sm 7 mic
- audix i-5 mic
- at 4050 or similar
- possibly a ribbon mic
- and anything else that you wouldn't mind trading for.

You might want to hold off on punting that MPC1000 until after Akai announces their upgrade plans - I hear rumors that they may be making OS 2.0 a giant leap into the realms of hard disks and further memory expansion.

Thanks for the heads up man, hadn't even heard about this. Well I will still take offers but now I might not be as willing to part with it. Of course this helps someone that wants to trade/buy for it so that's cool. Like I said, thanks for that info!
