Hey people i i have a few questions, when im done my mix in cubase and i want to put my beats on CD i export it as a Wav 24 Bit 48.000 KHz, as far as quality goes. Should i export it from cubase as a Wav or AIFF? I always convert it in iTunes to an MP3 File then burn it on CD.

And is there a certain type of Burning program/ or process i should use or would iTunes be ok?

Thanx for ya help

Might as well save it as a 16 bit 44.1 file, since that's the CD's native format. Saves you from additional processing and dithering.

CD audio is at 16 bit 44.1 Khz, export it to those specs and you can put that straight on a CD with any burning program without having to go through another conversion

Also, the conversion to mp3 in particular always degrades sound quality more than any other conversion, another reason not to use it..

so waz format should i use? i want the cd to be able to play on cd players

And keep it away from itunes.

Get a burning program like roxio or nero. Your computer probably came with one.

A wav and an aiff are functionally the same thing. aiff is just the mac version of a wav.
