Simple burning mp3 to cd rom disc problem

Greetings all...

New here so, I hope that I do not mess up too badly.

1)...I am looking for a solution to burn audio tracks (mp3's) to a cd rom disc to be played in a car single-disc CD player and in a home computer cd player....

2)...The car radio cd player has the ability to display on the ONLY screen the song title (a separate data field) on one line,
and the artist's name (separate data field) on the second line. A second display screen does not exist. Forget "wrap
around".

3)...The disc that I am looking to create will be A SINGLE AUDIO DISC, a compilation of different artists and song titles....

4)...How should the "greatest hits" (for lack of a better phrase) audio cd be burned to the disc so that the artist name
and song title don't appear as "one line" OR a "run-on sentence" display?....When an individual song is playing, what I want to appear are song title and artist's name, not "Track 1", or "Unknown Artist", etc.

5)...I currently have NERO Burning ROM 6, Enterprise Edition....Will this program accomplish the desired task, and how
should I do that?....Thus far, it appears that the program is designed such that I can enter artist's name and album
title, (on the false assumption that all songs are by the same artist) but nothing for individual songs by different
artists.

6)....Can anyone recommend any "freeware" programs that can accomplish this?...I am running Windows 7, 32-bit.

ANY ASSISTANCE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Welcome to HR :D

Does your Windows 7 have Windows Media Player? When you load a playlist from the left column and it appears center screen, see if songs have names listed in the Contributing Artist column. If so, right-click the name and select Edit. This will allow for info to be added or changed in all columns (TAB for next column). Add to Artist and Composer columns - see if this gives desired results for display.

EZ CD Audio Converter free is the software I usually use for burning CDs and DVDs these days.

I don't know what it's metadata tools are like these days, but worst-case scenario, you could use Reaper to render a CUE/BIN file and burn that

I am just now getting back to this. I have made some progress using Windows Media Player, but not as much as I had hoped. Back to it tomorrow. I may try EZ CD Audio Converter then.
