I am able to export wave file from my tascam 2488 into my PC, but am unable to get Sonar 3 to read or play them. Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone done it before? Let me know.

Are you exporting 24-bit WAVs? I haven't worked with WAVs in Sonar, but I was just browsing their tech docs a couple days ago, and came across this:

Sonar appears to default to 16-bit depth. You may have to tweak you settings to get the WAV files to work on your system.

is 16 bit still the industry standard? if so, could febear export the files in 16 bit?
I'm still trying to get a grip on the 2488 and Sonar as well.

Also, is your sound card 24 bit?
