My company is not publicly traded but I made it a INC because of the assets issue.
In terms of being the primary owner of the company and having the most holdings in it that would be yours truly.
My company employs over 20 people as well as the 8 acts that are under recording contract.

As for Epic...i dont have enough time to explain my life story to. I demoed to GFK he liked my shit and put me under his tutelage.
We've recorded together, while he was still at Epic and I was putting together my demo album to get to the A+Rs at EPIC, but i also helped produce some of the material on his 2nd album as well as use his assistance on my album
I didnt get a chance to finish what i started though seeing as how Epic gave people like myself and GFK the middle finger
As for the RZA...what the fuck makes you think all his beats are samples?
Have you been tricked by the sound of the drum?
Enter the 36 wasnt all sampled first and foremost..
Tical was full of synths ala ASR10
Raekwons album Only Built For Cuban Linx did have samples but also did have SYNTHS all over the album ...
Wu Tang Forever...almost NO samples

Me I prefer to use all keyboards because they give you less headaches than samples do especially when it comes to $$$

This guy who was a certified Full Sail engineer also made beats or whatever...he goes to this ok recording studio they charge by the hour and he masters ??? or whatever his stuff there and then charges people for his beats.. the guy who owns the facility gives him hard drive space to use....
However mister engineer never burns down his stems
yes he just burns down 2 track wavs to cdr
so hes cool with it im wondering wtf the whole entire time
and guess what happens the guy with the studio has other clients and they need hard drive space so he goes and erases the engineer/producers stems and keeps the 2 track wavs
hmm which means that he cant remix them just re master whatever he has or take out the time and money to re record them
He thought it was fucked up that the facility owner did that ...
I thought that it was common sense that you back up everything.
ESPECIALLY ON COMPUTERS/PROTOOLS

Though I can relate to how your feeling in this regard it doesn't mean their stupid dolts(not all of them anyway)
They may very well be well informed but seem to me as being part of a"bandwagon" movement. Instead of making decisions on what they have read or researched, they just blindly follow and believe what they read or a person they think appears to know what they are talking about.
I know I'm most likely opening myself to some word bashing next to illacov and regebro but in some regards I think the raise some good points.
Anyway just my two cents though I'm sure some could care less. I don't think the board (meaning how things are here) is going to change, so keeping that in mind should guild us all as to how we post and the words you use. I know it's not perfect but it does help.
