I'm looking all over the web for some sites on Eq'ing, and i've found some great stuff. Like this for example: http://www.recordingeq.com/EQ/req0900/primer.htm
The only problem, when it explains good places to cut and for what, the Frequencies they use (50Hz, 100Hz, 200 Hz, 400 Hz etc.) are not in Cakewalk's graphic eq. Mine start at 32Hz, then 64Hz, then 130Hz, and so on. I'm using Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro. Basically my question is can i change the frequencies used in the graphic eq? If not, does anyone have any input on different ways of eq'ing? Like where to reduce or increase for certain things? I'm primarily looking for drums. Thanks!
