Sounds like single coils. What are you using and what kind of tone are you looking for?

i'm not micing any amp.

that signal, was recorded with the guitar connected to a mixing console, and the fx were processed in post.

i wonder if i have to use, a "mic emulator" after the distortion emulator, or do something else before apply the fx.

i don't know, you tell me.

--------------------------------------

i've already tried micing my amp, but i have a zoom 505 pedal, and it sounds worst when micing. i have an sm57 and a mackie.

but i dont like the sound... to much "SHHHHHH" when playing the cords.

--------------------

i'm not looking for a specific sound, i just want to remove the anoying sound that's in the background, you know the "SHHHHHH".

ok (million questions i know!!) what guitar effects are you using?
i get that same problem with some software modelling plugins, normally due to having the gain up a bit too high. if youre using something like amplitube, there are noise gates that will strip off the 'shhhh' sound

i'm using revalver.

the noise gate will just mute the signal between every chord, and that's not what i want.

in some cases, this could be part of the distortion and also part of the music, but that's why i putted that sample, cause i don't know if it's ok to sound like that or try to remove it.

you tell me :D

Sounds like too much EQ is going on. Try to get a more natural sound, preferably from a mic'ed amp.

Ugh. I hate revalver. Never got a good guitar sound from it. Ok on bass if you need help there.

What sort of tones are you looking for?

i'm not looking for a specific sound, i prefer some recomendations on how the sound should be with the clean guitar recorded, just before the fx processing.

i don't even know if i'm having the right sound in the source signal.

maybe some samples will help, and i can guide my self to get that sound with my guitar and then apply the fx based on your guitar recording.

( just basic chords, not complex things, i'm not a professional guitarrist ).
