notice how they both appear as dreadnought bodies and are specified as the aforementioned...

they are also the same size scale down to the milimeter

Ummm, no. The AJ is a round shoulder guitar like the Gibson J45. The other looks like a normal Dreadnought. The price is because the won't sell as many round shoulders because they are less popular so they have to offset production costs with a higher MSRP....but since its on sale, I would play both and see which sounds better, cause they won't sound the same.

hmmm... i stand corrected:)

but which one would u reccommend?

There are different style dreadnaughts

round-shouldered and square-shouldered, at least.

But the AJ says it has pearl dots and a gloss finish, so I'm assuming materials and possibly the quality of the workmanship might account for the difference.

Buck62

that should be MY sig, especially for the mic forum. :o

I agree on the yamaha just look for tight grains.
that or if you can find a sea gull I think they have a solid top for something like two hundred. sound pretty cool.
solid top is a must in acustic guitars
its nice to have solid back and sides to
but then again its nice to have a grand in the wallet.

i didnt play any of thosbut i have a Chet Takins Model by Epihone, and i can tell you this i a greate guitar.
