electronic help needed (TasPorta05)

I'm having trouble with my Tascam Porta 05.
The tape heads are stuck; they won't go down.
I had to take the tape apart to get it out.
i opened the machine up but it was far too confusing seein as though i no nothing of electronics and such...so...
is there a simple solution that i could easily perform myself, or do i need to "take it in"?

You didnt say if rhe machine was still under warranty. if it is send it back to the factory. you may have violated the warranty by opening it.You said you no nothing about electronics, take it to someone who dose or send it to roland to be repaired. You may do more damage to it, tryin to fix it yourself

but i aint got no warrantea, you see.
and im aware of the risk involved, but if i can avoid "taking it in" to the "professionals" it would be nice cuz they'll prolly charge me more to fix it then what i paid for it.

I'm a technician, and I'd send it in if it were mine. At least that way if it came back still busted I could blame Tascam (yeah, so I'm vengeful).

Really, if you don't know exactly what you're doing, then DON'T TOUCH IT, you can only end up making things worse.
