I'm needing to buy some new drum heads. I've been using the Pin stripe and now I'm leaning towards the emperor heads. What would you guys recommend?

Ambassadors all the way.
nice crisp attack and great tone sustain.

It depends. Are you talking live or recording? Amassadors are the most recorded heads in history. Pinstripes are good for someone who wants to control ring, hits hard and doesn't have the budget to change heads very often.

Don't get suckered into the hype that pinstripes get you that sound you hear from pro studios. It just isn't true. In the studio, pinstripes sound sort of thuddy!

Emporers are right in between. They are two thin plies which aren't as thick as pinstripes. Good for kick!

Yup, I just put some Aquarian Performance II's on and think they sound good. Using the Force II (i think) on kick batter and the Regulator ( with hole) on reso. Worth checkin out IMHO. I paid about $100.00 for all of em including a new snare skin.
fwiw

As with anything it depends what sound you're after, and what your playing conditions are. I've also found that certain heads just seem to compliment certain kits. I play a lot of heavy rock/metal, and find that Evans G2's for batter and G1's on Reso with good tuning work well with nearly any setup.

For the bass drum i like aquarian heads - the superkick is a great head in my opinion

DOH!! I'm a bonehead...I got the superkick. You da bomb, bomb.
Looked at the Force but didn't buy it. Liked the SK better.
oops
