It depends. Are you talking live or recording? Amassadors are the most recorded heads in history. Pinstripes are good for someone who wants to control ring, hits hard and doesn't have the budget to change heads very often.
Don't get suckered into the hype that pinstripes get you that sound you hear from pro studios. It just isn't true. In the studio, pinstripes sound sort of thuddy!
Emporers are right in between. They are two thin plies which aren't as thick as pinstripes. Good for kick!
