I don't think there was a date set but from what I've seen in the past it usually takes a couple weeks. There's alot of entries this time and the judges usually have pretty busy schedules.

OK, I am starting judging tonight, and I have to say I am starting to get pissed off! There are too many good mixes! Seriously, usually I can cut about half after a first listen, but tomorrow I think I will need to listen to 2/3s of them again, and probably 1/3 a third time . . . 
fala and dcig311, I am scoring yours but I assume for "audit" credit as your entries were late? I will let NL5 decide.
NL5, are you tabulating results, or am I? I don't mind, I used to do Excel for a living . . . anyway, let me know if you want me to email these when I am done.

OK, I've finished! This was a tough winner to call, previous contests I always felt that one mix stood out above the rest, and it was just silver and bronze that were tough to call. Of course, in the past, other judges haven't picked the same obvious winner! 
I don't have too many general comments. There were lots of different decisions made. I didn't like the stick count left in, something like half of them had it. But I didn't downgrade anybody for that. I just assume you were leaving heads and tails for mastering, like the good mixers you all are
One word on the kick EQ, that was probably the most different choice made. A few people had completely overdone that. Click is good when it sticks out here and there as an accent. When it steps on the vocal, the guitar . . . not good.
Another thing I penalized hard was a loud mix that was also bad. If you think you might have EQ or balance problems in a mix, don't limit the poor thing to death, please. It makes it 100% harder to try and fix later. So if you did a loud mix, it better have been good! And there were some of those too.
That said, there was little correlation on my chart between top 10 mixes and volume, as it has been in the past . . .

If you judged the late entries, I see no harm in allowing them.
As far as tabulating, go ahead. The other judge is XfinsterX, and I have not heard from him.....
