I was recording a new client yesterday who is a female vocalist and I'm looking for some feedback on my mix so far...I"m mostly versed in hiip-hop so this is different for me.

Sounds pretty good to me. There are instances of popping, especially in the beginning. The vocals sound really good. Actually, other than the popping, i don't really have any other complaints. Good job!

Thanks for the input and the kind words. The popping is from a series of poor hardware settings during recording, now immortalized in the raw files. Luckily I was able to glean some replacement words from somewhere else after I uploaded this.

This woman just did one take and impressed the hell out of me...unfortunately having my notebook in Power Saver and several background tasks running didn't help capture that moment perfectly. Lesson learned though!
