That should work no problem. I did the samething with Toyota. They stopped making the Supra back in '98. I called em up and they went ahead and made a '95 Supra for me in 2002, it was awesome!!

Just because someone obeys the law, doesn't mean they think they are good enood enough. Christ taught us to obey Him first, then also the law where it didn't go again his teachings. Jesus didn't say "steal Cubase," but the law did, so it's still require of people.

u guys are all WAY too moany about illegal software, just calm it, software compaies were never going to make money out of the people who download the software illegally anyway, so there's not much difference. (btw, i have SX3 LEGALLY, but i had to spend the first few years of recording with illegal software, cos it's just way too overpriced)

There are many who throw stones that most likely have in the past or present used software they didn't pay for. It goes with the territory. I remember when I first started using a computer, I downloaded WinZip and it was bugging me about paying for it or it was going to stop working. One day, I was looking at various folders in Regedit because I wanted to get familiar with what that was all about. I opened the WinZip Registry folder and discovered the Key information that the program was asking for. So I copied it down and put it in the post form and whalla ... the darn thing said thank you or something like that. I didn't feel bad, I felt great because it was a learned tool about how programs are put together and it also gave me a little knowledge about the security issues that programmers face which was the field that I was going into.

As for our friend Hector, I believe he could have gone about getting the information he wanted in other ways. But he threw piracy in everyones face who just got finished shelling out cash for what he was getting for free and generally those are the very same people that plague the forums with countless questions about how to use the program because they can't call Steinberg or Microsoft for help.

So my suggestion is, since cracking programs will always countiue, if you crack a program or solicit a crack for a program, do everybody a favor and go through the pains of learning the program on your own time and don't insult those who bought the manuals and got free tech support to hold your hand.

This was the most mature and logical post of the countless number that has been growing. I didn't come here to preach morals, in fact this thread started before I even joined. I'm just here looking for recording advice as most people are from others with experience. People will always do whatever they want especially behind the virtual cloak of the internet so there is no use firing harsh language back and forth as there is never a winner.

I think you mafuckas are a tad bit too self righteous and dont understand the term "starving artist" and what it means.......See unlike most of you, mommy didnt have money to get me all this equipment.........I actually have to work, and budget my whole life including my hobby/love.....MUSIC................. I bought eveything on my own or "knew somebody who knew somebody" or something "fell off the back of a truck"......And to be honest, I'm not ashamed of it.......
