Doesn't anybody make a DIP-8 to SIP-8 adapter socket??

Looking at trying some opamp upgrades to some TL072's in a SIP-8 form factor. SIP-8 audio IC's seem to be hard to come by. So I thought, gee there's room there for a DIP-8 chip if it was elevated off te PCB a bit like it would be in a socket, but 'lo and behold I can't find a SIP-8 to DIP-8 adapter socket either...

What a PITA.
