Does anyone know if you can use a babyHUI with N-Track?

Ok, here's the gist of it all: I am in college and have little money, but I really don't want to pirate software, I would like to have a legit copy. The only software I can afford is N-track, but I want to use a babyHUI to mix with. Does anyone know if it's compatible? I posted at the N-track site and I think there was one guy who had done it, but I wasn't sure. Anyone? Thanks much.

What is a babyHUI , and if you are Gods' guitarist, what does he play? I would think that surely, with all of the great guitar players in heaven, He would not have to rely upon an earthbound musician?

I'm really confused, and scared...

I need a hug.

You can't afford software, but you can afford the Baby HUI? I'm confused.

The issue of MIDI control is addressed in section 6.3.5 of the n-Track manual, though it doesn't specifically mention the Baby HUI

lol cellardweller... I've not been up there yet, so I'm not sure. As far as a BabyHUI, check out www.mackie.com :) As far as software/babyHUI... here's what's going on. We are receiving a $500 donation in January. We are probably going to use this money for the BabyHUI, while I personally buy an 828... well, I'll be doing good to get an 828MKI used... heh... and after these two, there won't be much left for software to begin with and I don't want to pirate. I don't really want to go with anything lower than a babyHUI, either, because motorized faders make mixing so much easier when you have to mix in banks of 8. Does that make sense? Thanks a lot for your answer and I'll check out the N-track manual. If anyone else has anything to add, please do. :)
