just make sure you are recording at the right volume so it doesn't go in to the "red", you might be recording at too high a volume. you might also try getting a better preamp or more expensive mic. and like they said just make sure your software and drivers are up to date and you know how to use them and set everything accordingly. you might have to use a de-esser... or some other plugin to get rid of sibilance, but also experiment with the pop filter and how you position the microphone. usually you can point the mic down towards your mouth at a 45 degree angle and sort of sing "under" it and get a smoother sound.
