Alrite guys/gals please bear with me, i'm not sure how to word this so it makes sense but i'll try my best. I recently got the Line6 Toneport UX2 because i live in an apartment and can't exactly jam out... but the toneport works perfect for me in replicating effects so i can at least record some rough ideas. Now here's the thing: when i record my stuff, i'm fine with doing the mixing using my computer speakers. I should add that i'm only recording drone/sludge/doom stuff... and certainly nothing that i need precise editing on, i'm just doing it for myself and not to send to record labels. But here's the problem: when i am actually recording with the Toneport, the only way i can hear what i am doing is if i plug headphones into it and listen from there. But i'd like to be able to hear what i'm doing loud... and out of speakers/monitors/amp? I don't want to hear my actual playing through my computer speakers... so i'm confused on what i should use. It's almost like as if i want to use the Toneport as my amp head, and plug it somehow into my Crate cab. But i'm not sure if that can even be done, or if i'm going to need monitor speakers to plug into the Toneport just so i can hear myself loud enough, especially when recording while listening to another recorded guitar track or something. Sorry for a possibly stupid post, but hopefully someone understands what i'm trying to get at and can help me.
