If I was a chick ... anyway. I've thought for a while now that 1K Hopeless Member was reasonably witty, but not so much as being banned. I'm going to save the recordingproject.com banned sign as my avatar. Ha!

I'd like to just point out that I made no comment on SP mics in this thread. I was winding up the FBS (fed bureau of spam) in the hope of luring him away from other threads. Never mind!

How do you change the "title" just below your name, as you just did. Don't want to put in something witty -- just don't like the "newbie" thing after several years here, even if my post count is only around 40.

It's going to get really confusing if people can put "Banned" under their name when they are really not.

Per-
I think you have to have a certain number of post in order to gain access to that signature line. I forgot how many, though. :confused:
 
I got told it was 2000 posts or twelve months' membership, whichever came first.

I think it's more like 200. Or it used to be anyway.

Could be the case. But it is certainly not 12 mo membership (which I have).

Anyway, guess I just need to bump up the count with stupid postings like this one ;-)


Is it really the signature line that should be changed (I can change that already)? I thought it just added something to the bottom of the posts?


BTW, on DJL: I tried a search in the membership archive for DJL, and he was not there. Maybe I did something wrong -- or maybe he has really been banned?

I'm more confused now. Just saw a guy with 26 post appearing as "registered user" and one with 88 also a "registered user" -- and then one appearing as "junior member" with 60 posts.

Oh well -- guess I'll just continue for a while as "newbie"...

I just did a member search...

...and hr.com doesn't have a member named "DJL".

Hmmmmmmmm.....I wonder what name he'll come back as?

The thing under your name can be changed by clicking on your "User CP" in the top left of the screen, then "Edit Profile," and "Custom Title" or something like that. I'm not sure if there is a post minimum or not anymore.
