can someone tell me the differences between the delta 44, 66, and 1010 other than the obvious number of inputs and outputs. and please tell me what the omni I/O studio is that i keep seeing advertised. and if i get the delta 66 is there anything on the omni I/O thingy that is worth having or does my mackie 1402 pretty much cover all of that?

the differences are the obvious number of I/Os and digital I/Os... and price of course! :)

The Delta 1010 has better converters, located in the external housing opposed to on the PCI card like the Delta 44/66. -10/+4 db switch per channel, midi I/O, wordclock I/O can be nice to have too.

If you already have a mackie, you won't be needing something like the omni studio.

The 44 is 4 in(mono, balanced or unbalanced), 4 out in a breakout box.

The 66 is 4 in, 4 out in a breakout box plus midi and s/pdif. They both have the -10/+4 db/consumer switch per channel.

The Omni I/O is a couple of preamps, which like christiaan says you won't need if you've got pres in your mixer

cool thanks guys. can you tell me what the wordclock I/O is???
